In the early morning hours of February 4, 2026, concern grew for 15-year-old Jade Toth, who was last seen at her residence in Oviedo, Florida. The teenager was reported missing after she was last seen at approximately 3:20 a.m. Described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 120 to 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, Jade was believed to be wearing gray sweatpants, a dark-colored hoodie, and carrying a black backpack at the time of her disappearance. The Oviedo Police Department initiated an investigation and sought public assistance in locating her.

As the search for Jade continued, law enforcement officials believed she may have traveled to the Tampa/Clearwater area. Initial reports from the Oviedo Police Department indicated that she was considered a runaway and might have been in the company of three unknown females. The concern for her well-being intensified, leading the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to upgrade her case to a statewide Missing Child Alert to broaden the search and appeal for any information regarding her whereabouts. The alert was disseminated to the public with hopes that someone might come forward with information that could lead to her safe return.

After days of uncertainty, the investigating authorities reported that Jade Toth had been found safe. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that the Missing Child Alert had been canceled. While official reports confirmed she was safe, the specific details regarding the date and the circumstances of her recovery were not publicly released. The case began as a local police matter when the 15-year-old disappeared from her home, escalated to a statewide alert due to the ongoing investigation, and concluded with the welcome news that she was no longer missing.
