On January 19, 2026, concern grew for the well-being of 76-year-old Jay Patrick Hendershot, a resident of Davenport, Florida. On that Monday, Mr. Hendershot departed from his home, telling someone he was driving to the West Palm Beach area. He was traveling in his 2024 white Kia Sportage SUV, which had a Florida license plate of RLD305.
