On July 6, 1976, one-year-old Angel Torres-Irizarry vanished from the front yard of his home in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico. He was last seen playing with his identical twin brother, Antonio. At approximately 4:00 p.m., their mother called for the boys, but only Antonio was found in the yard. Angel has not been seen or heard from since that afternoon.
At the time of his disappearance, Angel was described as a Hispanic male with blond hair and green eyes, standing at 2 feet tall and weighing
30 pounds. He has a distinctive butterfly-shaped scar on the right side of his head and an appendectomy scar on his abdomen. Authorities believe that Angel may have been taken to California after he went missing.
The circumstances surrounding Angel's disappearance remain unclear, and his case is still unsolved. Due to the fact that Angel and his brother Antonio are identical twins, authorities have released a photograph of Antonio to show what Angel might look like as an adult. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has an age-progressed photo of Angel to what he may have looked like at 43 years old.
