Amalia Stoian, a 5-year-old girl, has been missing since December 29, 2022, from Anaheim, California. At the time of her disappearance, she was described as being 2' 10" tall and weighing 25 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Amalia is believed to be in the company of her younger brother, Matusalem Boran Stoian, and their parents, Claudiu Rafael Stoian and Madalina Paun. The children are reportedly being concealed by their parents, who are described as non-custodial.
The family was last seen together on December 29, 2022.
Authorities have expressed concern for the welfare of Amalia and her brother. Their parents, Claudiu Stoian and Madalina Paun, are wanted in connection with several robberies in the Los Angeles area. The couple allegedly drove around with their children in an SUV, approaching pedestrians and asking to "bless" their money or jewelry. Madalina Paun would then reportedly swap the victims' valuables with costume jewelry and lottery tickets. On at least one occasion, Claudiu Stoian allegedly brandished a gun.
