In the late summer of 2025, the community of Lumberton, North Carolina, was marked by the troubling disappearance of a young girl. Sixteen-year-old Porsha Nichole Brooks was last seen on September 13th of that year, a day that has since been frozen in time for her loved ones. On the day she vanished, Porsha, a Black female with brown eyes and black hair that may have had red dye in it, was reportedly wearing a black shirt and brightly colored, multi-patterned pants.
