Ashley Michelle Leonard, a 17-year-old female, was reported missing from Washington County, Virginia, on December 22, 2025. At the time of her disappearance, Leonard was 17 years old. Her case is registered with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children under case number VA25-5341.

In the small community of Cana, Virginia, a young life was tragically cut short. Ashley Glee Leonard, a 14-year-old girl, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2007. Born in Surry County on April 28, 1993, Ashley was a student at Carroll County Intermediate and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Her death brought profound sorrow to her family and all who knew her as a wonderful young person with a personality that outshined her years. Ashley was a cherished daughter, survived by her mother, Tracy Leonard, and her father and stepmother, Danny Leonard, Jr. She was part of a close-knit family, leaving behind sisters Alexandria "Andria" Leonard and Danielle Leonard, as well as grandparents and great-grandmothers. Remembrances from those who knew her paint a picture of a beautiful girl, both inside and out, with a memorable smile. She shared a special bond with her family, and memories of her, from being a shy five-year-old to a loving babysitter, are treasured by her relatives. Funeral services to honor Ashley's life were held at New Beginnings Church, and she was laid to rest in the Dowell Family Cemetery. The circumstances surrounding her passing are a source of deep sadness for her loved ones and the community. The case is a heartbreaking reminder of a vibrant young life that ended too soon, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories for her family and friends who miss her deeply.
