The January 2026 Buckeye case therefore began when Dia and other juveniles left a group home near Solano Drive and 196th Lane, prompted a police and community search, and concluded when Dia was located safe; months afterward, she was reported missing once more from Mesa, leaving a new and distinct investigation focused on bringing her safely home again.
