Claude Deyannes Pierson, a 46-year-old Black male, was last seen in Richardson, Texas, on October 20, 2000. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as being 6'0" tall and weighing 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was reportedly wearing black pants, a black baseball cap, and a silver bowling ring on his left pinky finger. His nickname was Bubba. Pierson has not been seen or heard from since that day.
Following his disappearance, some of Pierson's personal belongings were discovered in a field in southeast Dallas, Texas. The investigation into his whereabouts took a grim turn when a caller contacted police to report a violent incident they had witnessed. The caller stated that they saw a man being brutally beaten with a baseball bat at an apartment complex located in the 6000 block of Marvin Loving Drive, near Lake Ray Hubbard, at approximately 8:45 p.m.
Upon investigating the reported location of the assault, authorities found physical evidence that suggested a violent struggle had occurred. A bloodstained baseball cap and blood were found on the pavement at the scene. Despite these findings, there was no sign of Pierson.
