On August 7, 1992, 21-year-old Richard Victor Clark II vanished from Temple, Texas, under alarming circumstances. That day, Clark made a frantic call to his mother from a pay telephone, stating that someone was chasing him before the line abruptly went dead. His mother and sister immediately went to his apartment in Temple to check on him. Upon arrival, they found the phone off the hook, but there was no trace of Clark at the residence.
