On April 19, 2013, 31-year-old Melissa Ortiz-Rodriguez was last seen at her home on Lafayette Avenue in Collingdale, Pennsylvania. She was reportedly preparing to take a train to Newark, New Jersey, for a weekend visit with a friend. However, she never reached her destination and has not been heard from since. Her estranged husband, Jose Rodriguez, with whom she was still living despite their marital problems, reported her missing four days later, on April 23, 2013.
