In the winter of 2011, a 45-year-old woman named Kelly Frew vanished from Cincinnati, Ohio. She was last seen on the first of February in the 900 block of Ludlow Avenue. At the time of her disappearance, Frew was facing the profound challenges of homelessness. It is believed that she may have been making her way toward the downtown area of the city when she disappeared, but her exact movements and intentions on that day remain unclear.
