In June of 2018, Jorge Alberto Sanchez, a 26-year-old man from El Paso, Texas, traveled to Hobbs, New Mexico, for a temporary construction job, a decision made out of a desire to provide for his family. He was last seen by co-workers on June 21 of that year. This trip was unusual for Sanchez, as he was a homebody who had not ventured far from El Paso since his childhood.
