In the summer of 2023, Tameka Norris was expected to fly from North Carolina to Columbus, Ohio, for a visit with her mother to celebrate her birthday. However, she missed her flight. Despite this, Tameka called her mother, reassuring her that she was still on her way. But she never arrived in Ohio. Instead, Tameka traveled to New Mexico, a move that marked a significant and concerning shift in her life.
