Lowen Dean Thomas, 37, was last seen on the grounds of the Marshall State School in Marshall, Missouri, at 8:00 a.m. on July 19, 1976. A resident of the institution since 1947, Thomas had no history of running away. On the morning of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue shirt and green trousers.
