In the winter of 1994, a heart-wrenching story began to unfold in Livonia, Michigan, with the reported disappearance of a four-year-old boy named D'wan Christian Sims. On December 11, his mother, D'Wanna Harris, contacted authorities to say her young son had vanished while they were on a shopping trip at the local Wonderland Mall.
