Deanna Kay Brooks, a 70-year-old antiques dealer from Santa Cruz, California, vanished in August 2012 after leaving her home on Berkeley Way. She was reportedly last seen on either August 23 or August 24, 2012. Brooks, who was also a mother, was embarking on a nearly 500-mile journey to San Diego to celebrate her mother's 90th birthday.
