Investigators believe he left his home sometime during the night. Ballou, who is developmentally disabled, disappeared along with his tan golf cart, which has also not been located.
At the time of his disappearance, Ballou was described as a Caucasian male, standing at 6'0" and weighing approximately 285 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was reportedly wearing a yellow polo shirt, tan shorts, and white sneakers.

His family and friends have offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to his whereabouts. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is the investigating agency handling the case.
