David Ryo Miyamoto, a 30-year-old man from Kannapolis, North Carolina, went missing on January 30, 2023. He was last seen by friends and family on that day, and his final communication was via social media. After that point, his phone and social media accounts became inactive. Concerned for his safety, friends requested welfare checks, but when police accessed his apartment on February 2, 2023, they found his belongings intact, though there was no sign of Miyamoto himself.
