On March 13, 2023, 53-year-old Michael Shawn Owens was last seen by his father in Miami, Oklahoma. He was setting out for a court hearing scheduled in Harrisonville, Missouri, a journey that would take him across state lines. Owens, a military veteran and father, was reportedly driving a silver 2005 Ford F-250 Superduty Lariat. He spoke with his brother by phone while traveling north on Interstate 49 towards his destination, but he never arrived at the court hearing, and that phone call was the ...
