Christopher Cote, a 58-year-old man from Concord, New Hampshire, was reported missing after he was last known to be in contact on March 19, 2025, according to his NamUs missing-person entry.
In the day that followed, Concord Police and Concord Fire responded to multiple 911 calls about a person seen in the Merrimack River near the Manchester Street Bridge.
Officials described the person as a possible male wearing a dark-colored jacket and initiated an urgent search on land and in the water. The response quickly expanded into a multi-agency effort involving resources such as the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office, New Hampshire State Police Air and Marine Patrol, New Hampshire Fish & Game, and neighboring Bow police and fire personnel.

In the immediate searches near the bridge, responders did not locate or recover anyone from the river, and authorities continued investigating to identify and locate the person who had been reported in the water.
