In the summer of 2024, concern grew for a 36-year-old man from Sevierville, Tennessee, named Terou Mays. He was last seen on July 19, 2024, and as the days turned into weeks, his loved ones grew increasingly worried. The Sevier County Sheriff's Department was notified and began an investigation into his disappearance, officially filing a missing persons report on July 23, 2024.
