Summary based on the NamUs case record (MP130998)
Suzanne Simpson, a 51-year-old real estate agent and mother of four from Olmos Park, Texas, was last seen on October 6, 2024. That evening, she and her husband, Brad Simpson, attended a party at The Argyle, a private dinner club in San Antonio. Upon returning home, a neighbor reported witnessing a physical altercation between the couple outside their residence. The neighbor observed Suzanne attempting to escape as Brad restrained her, followed by screams emanating from a nearby wooded area. Later that night, Brad was seen leaving the house in his black GMC pickup truck, returning a few hours afterward.

The following day, October 7, Suzanne failed to pick up their child from school, prompting concern. Brad reported her missing that evening. During the investigation, authorities noted Brad's lack of cooperation and his absence from a scheduled police interview. He was later found at his ranch in Bandera County. On October 9, Brad was arrested on charges of assault causing bodily injury and unlawful restraint. Subsequent searches of the couple's home and surrounding areas yielded limited information.

As the investigation progressed, Brad faced additional charges, including tampering with evidence and possession of a prohibited weapon. Notably, he allegedly instructed his business partner, James Cotter, to hide an AK-47 rifle, which was later discovered concealed within a wall at Cotter's residence. Cotter was subsequently charged with tampering with evidence.

Despite extensive search efforts, including examinations of landfills and wooded areas, Suzanne's body has not been located. On November 7, authorities charged Brad with her murder, citing sufficient evidence despite the absence of her remains. He is currently held on a $5 million bond. Family members have expressed a desire for Brad to cooperate with authorities to provide closure.

The case has garnered significant public attention, with community members and law enforcement continuing their efforts to locate Suzanne and seek justice. The investigation remains active, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward.
