On November 10, 2024, 16-year-old Chloe Ginder was reported missing from Niceville, Florida. She was last seen around noon leaving her home, wearing a camo hoodie with the collar cut off, gray sweatpants, black and white striped Adidas tennis shoes, a gold chain necklace, and carrying a black Vera Bradley backpack.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) initiated an investigation into Chloe's disappearance, conducting interviews with family members, friends, and neighbors
to gather information about her recent activities and potential whereabouts. They also distributed flyers with her photograph and description, and utilized social media platforms to raise public awareness.
On November 13, 2024, the OCSO issued a public appeal for assistance in locating Chloe, urging anyone with information to contact them or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers. Later that day, it was reported that Chloe had been found safe.
The OCSO expressed gratitude to the community for their assistance and support during the search efforts. They emphasized the importance of public involvement in such cases and encouraged continued vigilance in reporting any suspicious activities or information regarding missing persons.
