Moira Bossard, an 80-year-old woman from Brooksville, Florida, was reported missing on October 8, 2024. She was last seen entering a hurricane shelter at Challenger K-8 school in Spring Hill, Florida, just before Hurricane Milton made landfall. Neighbors described Bossard as confused before she drove to the shelter, mentioning she had returned home once because she was lost and talked about driving to Tennessee to be with her family.
