According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) Missing Persons Clearinghouse, LaMya went missing under circumstances that led authorities to categorize her case as urgent. She was reportedly seen getting into a vehicle before she disappeared, and she has not been in contact with her family or friends since that time.
