In the summer of 2024, a young boy named Male Lowin Daniel Martinez Reyes traveled from his home in the Dominican Republic to New Haven, Connecticut, with his baseball team for a tournament. At just 11 years old, he was described as being 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
