On a cool autumn day, November 11, 1985, 64-year-old Emerson 'Red' Carbaugh, a resident of St. Thomas, Pennsylvania, ventured into the woods of Huntingdon County for a turkey hunt. Accompanied by his brother-in-law, Ralph Issett, he was last seen off Route 913, about two miles south of Robertsdale.
