It is believed that he was intending to go fishing at Thunderbird Lake in Norman, a place he was known to enjoy. At the time he went missing, Mike was described as a Caucasian male, standing at 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing between 135 and 140 pounds. He had sandy brown hair and blue eyes.
The day he vanished, he was wearing a white t-shirt, cut-off blue jeans, and white athletic shoes, along with a 'Tommy Hilfiger' watch.
Mike had several distinguishing physical features that his loved ones hoped would help in locating him. He had a three-inch scar on the inside of his left knee. Additionally, he had two noticeable tattoos: one of the 'Grim Reaper' on his shoulder blade and another of the cartoon character 'Tweety Bird' on his right arm.
