On a summer day in August of 1998, a 32-year-old man named Mike James Minor was at the Clearview Trailer Park in Noble, Oklahoma, and then was never heard from again. It is believed that he was intending to go fishing at Thunderbird Lake in Norman, a place he was known to enjoy. At the time he went missing, Mike was described as a Caucasian male, standing at 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing between 135 and 140 pounds. He had sandy brown hair and blue eyes. The day he vanished, he was wearing a white t-shirt, cut-off blue jeans, and white athletic shoes, along with a "Tommy Hilfiger" watch. Mike had several distinguishing physical features that his loved ones hoped would help in locating him. He had a three-inch scar on the inside of his left knee. Additionally, he had two noticeable tattoos: one of the "Grim Reaper" on his shoulder blade and another of the cartoon character "Tweety Bird" on his right arm. These details were shared in the hopes that someone might recall seeing him and could provide information about what happened after he left the trailer park with the intention of going on a fishing trip. Despite the passage of time, the details surrounding Mike's disappearance remain scarce, and his case has grown cold. Authorities conducted searches in the area of Thunderbird Lake and other surrounding locations, but these efforts did not yield any clues as to his whereabouts or what might have transpired. The lack of witnesses or any significant evidence has made it incredibly difficult for investigators to piece together the timeline of his movements on that day. The case of Mike Minor is a somber story of a man who seemingly vanished without a trace, leaving his family and community with unanswered questions.
