Tina Marie Sinclair, 34, and her 15-year-old daughter, Bethany Sinclair, were last seen on February 4, 2001, in West Chesterfield, New Hampshire, where they lived with Tina's boyfriend, Eugene Van Bowman Jr. Tina and Bowman had reportedly argued on the night of their disappearance. Bowman claimed that he left the house and, upon his return, found both Tina and Bethany gone, along with their clothes.
However, other personal belongings, including Tina's car and her cat, were left behind.
Their disappearance was not reported until February 10, 2001, six days later. Investigations have found no activity on Tina’s or Bethany’s bank accounts, social security numbers, or phones since they vanished. Despite extensive searches, including along the nearby Connecticut River, no trace of the mother and daughter has been found. Authorities suspect foul play, but no arrests have been made. Bowman, though considered a person of interest, has refused to cooperate with investigators and denies involvement.
