Patricia Viola, a 42-year-old wife and mother from Bogota, New Jersey, disappeared from her home on February 13, 2001. On the day she went missing, she had been volunteering at a local elementary school library. She returned home and later left again in the afternoon. Her husband, James Viola, discovered she was missing when he returned home to find the house empty and the security alarm set.
