On a spring afternoon in Skidmore, Missouri, a 20-year-old man named Branson Kayne Perry seemingly vanished into thin air. It was April 11, 2001, and Branson was at his father's home on West Oak Street with a friend, tidying up before his father returned from a hospital stay.
