Ernestina Madrigal, a 67-year-old woman from Lynwood, California, was last seen on August 5, 2001, at her home near the 3000 block of Euclid Avenue. Ernestina, who regularly took morning walks, disappeared under circumstances that remain unclear. Although she had not been officially diagnosed, her family suspected she might have been showing early signs of Alzheimer's disease, which could have contributed to her disappearance.
