In the autumn of 2003, a 40-year-old man named Jerry Herman Hawkins vanished from Highland Park, Michigan, leaving behind a profound and lingering mystery. On the evening of October 12th, Jerry, also known by his nickname Pepe, was visiting an acquaintance at a home near the intersection of Highland Street and Woodward Avenue.
