Garrett Thomas Hughes, a 44-year-old man, disappeared on November 27, 2003, from Georgetown, South Carolina. He was last seen at Manor House, an assisted living facility where he had lived for three years. Hughes, originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, had sustained a head injury that left him with paralysis on his left side, causing him to drag his left leg and keep his left arm drawn in.
