In the spring of 2005, a sense of unease settled over a family when Sandra Chalene Hale, a 39-year-old woman, vanished from Perry, Georgia. On May 18, she informed her boyfriend of her plans to travel to Chattanooga, Tennessee. This was the last known communication anyone had with her.
