Caleb Jeffrey Allen, a 22-year-old from North Branch, Michigan, was last seen on May 30, 2005, following a disagreement with his family at their home on Millis Road. He left in his maroon 1996 Buick LeSabre, which was found six days later, abandoned in the Lapeer State Game Area near Rood Lake and Beyers Roads. Inside the locked car, police discovered Caleb’s personal belongings, including his identification and a box of bullets, but a .45 caliber Ruger pistol registered to him was missing.
