David Douglas Boone, a 56-year-old golf club designer, was last seen at his home in Lake Forest, California, on December 5, 2006, around 3:00 p.m. Boone, who had been going through a divorce and experiencing personal stress, left behind his credit cards, identification, phone, cash, and vehicle when he disappeared. His teenage son reported him missing the following day when Boone did not return home.
