Shonda Stansbury, a 24-year-old mother of four, was last seen on December 9, 2006, in Weldon, North Carolina. On that day, she visited the Waffle House where her sister worked. Witnesses reported that Shonda appeared to be injured, with bruises on her face and legs and a bump on her temple. A customer gave her a ride to a trailer park on West 10th Street in Roanoke Rapids, where she had been staying with friends, though they had asked her to leave that day. She has not been seen since.
