Sheldon is described as a Native American male with black hair and brown eyes. At the time he went missing, he had a mustache and a thin beard and wore eyeglasses with thin black frames. He has several distinct physical features, including a pierced right ear, a prior stab wound on his abdomen, and multiple tattoos. These tattoos include a monkey with wings and a burning crown on his upper left shoulder, a thunderbolt on his left hand, and the "S" symbol for the band Slipknot on his right calf. He was last seen wearing a black short-sleeved t-shirt, black XXL shorts with long gray strings, a gray tank top, a black Adidas jacket, black athletic shoes, black socks, and a plain black baseball cap. He is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation. The investigation into Sheldon Boyd's disappearance has been ongoing for many years, yet his case remains unsolved.
