Claude Shelton, 37, and his wife, Martha Sue Shelton, disappeared under mysterious circumstances on May 21, 1971, from Corbin, Kentucky. That night, the couple put their three children to bed in their home at Gerry’s Trailer Park and informed them that they were going to a nearby truck stop, King's Truck Stop, about five miles away. However, neither Claude, Sue, nor their vehicle—a white 1967 Ford Galaxie 500—was ever seen again.
