On September 24, 1971, 16-year-old Cathy Moulton disappeared in Portland, Maine, after running errands in preparation for a YWCA dance. Cathy was last seen leaving Starbird Music on Forest Avenue, where she told a friend she was walking home. She was carrying a small amount of cash, two tubes of toothpaste, and a brown leather bag.
