Roland Martin Welsh Jr., a 32-year-old man from Desoto, Texas, went missing on February 13, 1978. At the time of his disappearance, Welsh was dealing with significant personal issues, having been treated for a nervous breakdown. Authorities believe he might have been suffering from amnesia, which may have contributed to his disappearance. Welsh, also known by the nicknames "Skip" or "Skippy," was last seen in Desoto and has not been heard from since.
