Barbara Louise Cotton, a 15-year-old girl from Williston, North Dakota, went missing on the evening of April 11, 1981. Barbara, often called "Barbie" by her family, was a sophomore at Williston High School. On the night of her disappearance, she was reportedly last seen at a local restaurant, the Triangle Nite Club, where she had dinner with a male friend. Witnesses stated that after dinner, Barbara was seen walking home alone, but she never arrived at her destination.
