Arthur Stanley "Tim" Carver III, aged 21, went missing on December 6, 1983, after departing from the Dinner Key Marina in Miami, Florida. He and a friend, Kevin Wadsworth, were heading to the Bahamas in a 21-foot Enterprise boat, reportedly involved in marijuana trafficking. The boat, described as having a white hull and a blue bottom, with a 235-horsepower Evinrude motor, has never been found, and neither Carver nor Wadsworth were ever seen again.
At the time of his disappearance, Carver was 5'10" tall, weighing between 200 and 225 pounds, with hazel eyes and black hair. He had a mustache, a light beard, and a noticeably hairy chest. Carver was last seen wearing blue jeans, a plaid flannel or cowboy-type shirt, and either brown cowboy boots or boat shoes.
