Michelle Sonja McKnight, a 15-year-old, was last seen in Norfolk, Virginia, on January 1, 1991. Michelle had experienced a tumultuous upbringing, often moving between New Jersey and Virginia. According to her father's account, after relocating to Norfolk, she stayed with a family friend while he moved to Richmond.
