William Smith Otto, age 47, was last seen on April 29, 1993, in Sanford, Florida. On the day of his disappearance, Otto left a note to his family, which suggested he might not return, and gave away some of his personal possessions. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. Otto, who had three fingers missing from his left hand due to an amputation, was described as standing 6'1" and weighing approximately 300 pounds.
