In the spring of 1998, Traci Leigh Pittman Kegley, a 30-year-old mother, was embarking on a new chapter in her life. Having recently moved in with her parents in Elmore County, Alabama, after separating from her husband, she was looking forward to starting a new job at a dental office. Her divorce had been finalized just sixteen days before she vanished.
