Heyward Howard Jr., aged 36, was last seen on July 8, 1998, in Orlando, Florida. On that day, he and his friend Vincent Morgan borrowed a friend's car to travel to the Winter Garden home of another acquaintance, Conchita Latrice Slayton. The two men never returned, and no one has heard from them since. Investigators later found blood and bullet casings in Slayton’s home, leading to suspicions of foul play. In 2002, Slayton was charged with the murders of both Howard and Morgan.
