On August 4, 1999, 18-year-old Heather Jean Johnson was last seen in Glen Burnie, Maryland. At the time of her disappearance, she was facing serious legal trouble, having been jailed in Upper Marlboro for her alleged involvement in a murder-for-hire plot against her boyfriend and employer.
