Alexis Patterson, a 7-year-old girl from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, went missing on May 3, 2002. That morning, Alexis's stepfather, LaRon Bourgeois, walked her to Hi-Mount Boulevard School, which was just a block away from their home. He said he watched her head toward the playground before leaving. However, Alexis never attended school that day, despite being seen by other students on the playground.
